Week 11A- Creating A Newsletter
My business letter will host topics that have to do with health and fitness. As stated in my last post, I want to include workouts, nutrition and having a healthy mind (spirituality). All of those things have to do with leading a healthy and happy life. I would send a newsletter weekly. I think that in the fitness industry it is good to keep people up to date and there are so many topics to cover. I would send out a weekly reminder, on Monday's, so people can start their weeks off right. This way they can have a new goal for the week! I think my customers would enjoy seeing how they can start living a healthier life while creating more happiness in the process. I think that if I can educate people on food, exercise, and get their minds thinking positively, they can truly be motivated towards working on being a better version of themselves!
10B- Comments/3 Categories
As far as following pages and commenting, it was fun to see everyones business! I Commented on Melanie Materazzi's Coffee Cultures Facebook page and Ashley Enders Photography Page on Facebook!
On my blog I would use a workout section, a nutrition section and a personal growth section. As far as working out goes, it is important to get the mind and body right. I have noticed through the years of bodybuilding and competing, I have grown more mentally than anything. The sport has tested me and has tested my self love. It is so important that you separate aesthetics and self love and that you be happy in your body no matter how is looks. This is why I would have a personal growth section.
As far as having a nutrition section, you have to eat right to lose weight and even to create a happier, healthier life! Food is mood. I always say that! When it comes to nutrition, it is 80% or even 90% of getting in shape. Don't get me wrong, you have to workout, eat right and care for yourself when it comes to a healthy lifestyle too. Yet, food has so many nutritious benefits, benefits that can help you live longer, benefits that can help you feel better, have more energy and most importantly, improve your health. Food is fuel, food is medicine, food is a huge part of life and many people don't see how much good, good food can have on the body!
Lastly, workouts is the other section I would include. I am a personal trainer and it is my job to show people how to workout correctly and efficiently for what their goals are! It is important that I showcase my craft and show others that I know what I am doing when it comes to personal training, exercise rehab and reaching your goals with exercise!
All in all, I would use these three topics to grow my business because they all have to do with what I do. I can showcase that I know what I am doing, show client results, and teach others how to live a healthier and happier life. I see that when you give tips and when you show people the way, you get more followers and people become more interested. I, myself, keep in shape so that I can show others that it is possible, how they can keep in shape like me and tips on what to do and what not to do. I do this through all these categories so it can help my business grow. I post about these three things so I can teach others. Hitting on these subjects for my business has worked thus far!

10A -Blogging For Business/ Personal touch and Proof of Installation
When does it make sense to add a personal touch to a post, and when does it not?
I think that it makes sense to add a personal touch to a post when you explain why you are posting what you are posting about. I think it makes sense when you are trying to reach someone from the heart and show them that you care about what you do as you connect with them on a personal level. I notice that most people like realness, people like the raw and the unseen, or behind the scenes footage. On Instagram, some of my most commented photos and videos have been on ones that are from the heart. I show why I am passionate about what I do. One video, I started crying, and I got the most love I ever have on that video. I had several messages in my inbox of people thanking me for posting things that other people hold back from. I have motivated and inspired many people by just being myself and by teaching others that its ok to be where you are in life.
On the other hand, when I post workouts or that I have a special going on, I don't get too personal on those. When it comes to money or when it comes to trying to get clientele, it is important that you are firm and that you show that you know what you are doing. People want to see results, and on those posts, that is what I show. I still connect with them on a personal level, yet, in a different way. I still show personality and a connection, but I also show that I know what I am doing. It is more instructional. With these posts, I will connect by being a little more "pushy" then more sympathetic.
I never think you can go wrong with adding personal touch to a post. I like to sympathize with people and I also like to show people I mean business. A lot of times, people will sign with you because they like who you are as a person. I never once have wanted to sign with someone who's attitude I didn't like or who I thought was being really fake about their posts. That is just me, and I like connecting personally and I like to see that there are good people in the world. Personality is always something that drives me closer to a person and a product.

Week 9 Twitter
To find my connections I used a few different words, as my job includes a few different things. The key words that I used were personal trainer and health coaching. I searched through a few because I wanted variety and to make sure who I was following inspired me. I also wanted to make sure that the people I follow were up to date and had some helpful tips or tricks when it comes to marketing and their content they post. I like to follow people who post new and innovating things, people who ask questions and also keep up on their craft. I ended up finding:
My customers could expect to see my tweets a few times a day, most likely morning, afternoon and night. The times when people wake up before work, lunch hours and after work hours. I think these are most effective, because this is when people can and mostly do check their phones. I know that at any job I work, I am never on my phone. Since that is the case, usually a 9-5 or times within there will be less productive as far as social media goes. I really think night time is the key, I often stay up in bed and play on my phone, I find it is common!

I created a Health Coaching list and a Personal Training list. I did this because these are my two main focuses in my job and it allows me to separate the two. This way, when I want to be inspired by someone in a certain category, I can more effectively search for what Im looking for when I go to the lists. This way, I don't have to sift through a bunch of people to find the one person I want. It definitely is a great factor to staying organized!
