I chose the template I did because it isn't too busy but has just enough pop to draw the eyes to it. I changed around the colors to not be too loud. I chose something less loud, i.e. no crazy designs, and with a little pop because I want people to be drawn in by first the pop and then concentrate on  the content on the blog. I wanted my blog to have enough personality to to draw them in and hopefully content to keep them staying! I looked at doing a super simple design, but was thinking that if I were to look at, or search for something, I would probably be drawn to something with a little color and fun. This one is easy to post to as well. It is not cluttered and looks like a very clean design to me!
